Answers to Common Queries

How to Use SEPLIX

Dosage: Take exactly as prescribed by your physician.
Timing: It is most effective when taken on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal).
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet, as this destroys the enteric coating.

How it Works

The active ingredient, Serratiopeptidase, is an enzyme that works by:
Breaking down Fibrin: It dissolves the protein "net" (fibrin) that contributes to swelling and blood clots.
Thinning Fluids: It thins the fluids around the injured area, making it easier for the body to drain them.
Blocking Pain Amines: It inhibits the release of pain-inducing chemicals (like bradykinin), providing relief from discomfort.

Safety Advice

Pregnancy/Nursing: Consult your doctor before use; limited data is available for these groups.
Blood Disorders: Use with caution if you have a bleeding disorder or are on blood thinners.
Surgery: Stop taking SEPLIX at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery to avoid bleeding risks.
Kidney/Liver: Generally safe, but patients with severe impairment should consult a specialist.

What if You Forget?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Is SEPLIX a painkiller?

Not directly. It is an anti-inflammatory enzyme. It reduces pain by removing the pressure and chemicals caused by swelling.

Can I take SEPLIX with antibiotics?

Yes, in many cases, doctors prescribe them together as SEPLIX can help the antibiotic reach the site of infection more effectively.

How long does it take to see results?

Most patients notice a reduction in swelling and pain within 24 to 72 hours of starting the course.
